Me and the g/f are looking to get married in Vegas, thinking between June-Sep of next year..anyplace recomended ? Anyplace to avoid ? Probably just fly out and stay 2-3 nights..I havent been there in at least 4 years..used to like the Barbary Coast (small, inexpensive, central) but understand Harrahs bought it out..thinking of going downtown this trip (nugget), but this is her first time in vegas, so the strip may make more sense.

The little white chapel, good enuf for the likes, Michael Jordan, John Bon Jovi. and Joan Collins, how much better could it be? They also have a drive-through facility.

If you feel like spending thousands of dollars in lawyers, years of your life down he drain..... shoot your self, that way you'll save your friends/family from a LOT of bull shit, get a gun, put it in your mouth and pull the trigger....
wont remember a thing, that I promise

Friend of mine (Irish guy) got married in Vegas a few years ago, I thought it would be all cheesy and stuff but it turned out to be an awesome time.
He got married in the Tropicana, decent ceremony, then had dinner at the Voodoo Lounge Restaurant in the Rio and partied upstairs after we ate.

It turned out to be a great time, nice simple ceremony, got shitfaced at the Rio, then cruised down to the strip and continued the night out. Nothing like partying in Vegas with a bunch of Irishmen after they lose one of their own.

Turned out to be much nicer than I thought, one of the best weddings I've been to.

I got married at Treasure Island in 1998 but we had about 45 people attending. If it's just you two, I would just go cheap and simple on the ceremony but splurge on the hotel suite and meals.
